This cable is required to the connection by digital final devices. The cable can be connected, e.g., to a computer with DVI-D out and transfers the digital signals on a Beamer or TFT screen. Furthermore it can be connected to a playback device with HDMI and delivers thus the digital signal for the connection with a TFT screen with DVI-D IN.
